Existing Worker Traineeships are designed to assist Employers with funding opportunities to  up-skill eligible existing staff, by completing a nationally recognised qualification.

• Employers looking to up-skill staff

ELIGIBILITY

An employee who has been employed by the business for more than the following;

• 3 months full time
• 12 months part time (working more than 15 hours per week)

Further conditions may apply and are as follows;

• The employee is an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia
• The employee has not completed any qualification, which is at a Certificate III level or above in the last 7 years
• Employees are not currently enrolled as an apprentice or have accessed it in the past 7 years
• Employees who have a prior qualification completed, such as a degree or diploma are not eligible

An Australian Apprenticeship Centre will determine all eligibility.
