Participate in Prosperity (PiP)
Participate in
Prosperity (PiP) is a program that establishes formal links with local
community organisations and other service providers to assist their
clients in overcoming barriers to employment and training.
PiP is
a strategy aimed at identifying key communities and population groups
who are largely locked out of the labour force. PiP seeks to address
increased workforce participation and sustainability of employment for
individuals and families with multiple barriers.
• You will receive a holistic approach to barriers impeding your employment or training; • Receive the necessary skills and knowledge to actively improve workforce participation, and • Receive intensive support for up to 18 months
It
is expected that this new, innovative approach to employment assistance
will change the motivation and aspirations of those unemployed or in
precarious job environments. Mature age workers and other disadvantaged
job seekers, who may be currently invisible to the labour market, may
also be able to benefit from assistance through PiP.
