Building Bribie and 3DBay
These are projects contracted to CADET for the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation to create employment and training opportunities for people who are:
- Long-term unemployed
- Under-employed
- Mature aged
- Indigenous
- Ex-offenders
- Women returning to the workforce
Paid Work Placement opportunities in construction/landscaping with accredited training provided by TAFE are offered throughout the year from both locations.
Job Preparation support is provided for all participants, which includes resume building, interview skills and more. Participants have the option to be referred to other DEIR funded projects offering accredited training using the resources of CADET community contacts.

Aged Care Project
CADET Group Australia Caboolture Office offers a Nationally Accredited Certificate III in Aged Care.
Eligible participants complete a full-time 14-week course. Training is provided by TAFE and CADET Group Australia organises the vocational placement for each participant.
Participants must complete a Level III Language, Literacy & Numeracy test to ensure ability to complete a course of Certificate III level.
Multicultural Employment Assistance Program (MEAP) - MC Connect
MC Connect is an innovative program to assist people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds into employment. Participants receive support to overcome barriers associated with adapting to a new culture and accessing required services within the region. Assistance from MEAP is designed for the individual needs of each participant. from accessing housing to gaining recognition for formal training. Participants can access accredited training programs and support to increase their employability.
Eligible participants:
- Are from a culturally OR linguistically diverse background
- Have the correct residency to work in Australia (not a working holiday or student visa)
- Are currently unemployed
- Are new arrivals in Australia
- Are Australian residents from a multi-cultural background
North East Business Park
North East Business Park is a proposed Marina, Residential, Retail and Golf Course development set to go in near Burpengary.
Northeast Business Park Pty Ltd is proposing to develop a 340-hectare multi-use precinct including a proposed Marina, Residential, Retail and Golf Course development on 760 hectares of privately owned land located at Nolan Drive Morayfield. This degraded site is a former pine plantation on the southern banks of Caboolture River near Burpengary.
The vision for Northeast Business Park includes:
A 160-hectare business and light industrial precinct A marina and associated commercial, retail and service facilities More than 100 hectares of mixed density residential development Rehabilitated environmental buffer zones along the Caboolture River Leisure facilities including a golf course and 365 hectares of active and passive public recreation areas - including a Heritage Park
One of North East Business Park’s initiatives includes restoring and regenerating approximately nine kilometres of riparian buffer zone, previously destroyed by the use if the property as a pine forest plantation.
CADET is the leading recruitment Employment and Training agency for the Northeast Business Park and will be developing training and employment initiatives in line with the proposed development timeline of the Northeast Business Park project..
Northeast Business Park is currently undergoing Environmental Impact Studies. At present we are taking expressions of interest regarding anything to do with the development. In the future there will be business, employment and training opportunities available.
